Practical Remote Solutions – Enhancing safety
ISO 9001:2000 & NQA-1

The S.A.Robotics (SAR) Quality Management System reflects absolute understanding of industry requirements necessary to achieve quality design and construction for both national and international customers per ASME NQA-1 and ISO 9001:2000.

Quality improvement is a disciplined management process based on the premise that all work can be planned, performed, measured, and improved. SAR management ensures that the focus is on improving the quality of products, processes, and services by establishing priorities, promulgating policy, promoting cultural aspects, allocating resources, communicating lessons learned, and resolving significant management issues and problems that hinder the organization from achieving its objectives. Additionally, SAR management balances safety and mission priorities  when considering improvement actions.

S.A.Robotics’Quality Program includes provisions for establishing and implementing processes to detect and correct quality problems and for management to regularly assess the adequacy and effective implementation of the quality assurance program and its continued improvement.

Below are companies and sites who evaluated and approved the S.A.Robotics’ Quality Program:

S.A.Robotics’ QA Manual and QA Procedures were established to document and implement ISO 9001-2000 and the eighteen (18) point criteria of NQA-1 including, for example; vendor evaluation, source inspection, internal audit, in-process inspections, functional testing, development of quality programs and procedures, process improvement, software quality assurance, corrective action, inspection and test procedures and personnel qualification.

S.A.Robotics currently employs quality professionals with experience in the following areas of qualification and certification:

S.A. Robotics Welding Capability

SAR capabilities include: gas metal arc, flux cored arc, gas tungsten arc, and stud welding. Materials welded include: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum and nickel alloys. SAR welding procedures and welders are qualified to American Welding Society (AWS) D1.1 (Structural Welding Code-Steel), D1.2 (Structural Welding Code – Aluminum), D1.6 (Structural Welding Code - Stainless Steel) and D9.1 (Sheet Metal Welding Code). SAR can also provide qualification to ASME Section IX. SAR has an AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) for performing visual inspection, and Professional Engineer (PE) in Welding Engineering. Radiographic, ultrasonic, liquid penetrant, and magnetic particle examination is performed by an approved subcontractor with ASNT certification

The SAR quality management system complements and is integrated with the Safety Management System (SMS), described in DOE P 450.4, Safety Management System Policy and DOE Acquisition Regulation 48 CFR 970.5204-2 (i.e., the DEAR ISMS clause). The quality management system provides processes and tools for ensuring that ISMS objectives are achieved. DOE P 450.4 expresses a fundamental expectation that all work will be performed safely. The SAR fundamental quality expectation is that all work meets established requirements. In this regard, the quality management system ensures compliance with the approved regulatory standards set, so that the expectation for safe work within controls is met. This also ensures that workers, the environment, and the public are reasonably protected from harm.
